Barbara Juniper

Spiritual mentor, sound healer, gardener and community dharma leader, Barbara’s life has been devoted to the exploration of the intersection of music, nature, spiritual practice and the healing arts. At the heart of her work is her passion for supporting others in their process of inner transformation and awakening. Her spiritual journey has been informed by mystic Christianity, Indigenous ceremonial ways, Buddhism, the power of sound and deep immersion in nature. A graduate of the Institute of Classical Homeopathy (1996), the CIIS program of Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts (2009), and the six year Bodhi/Shangpa program at Sukhasiddhi Foundation (2018), Barbara teaches meditation, leads women’s groups and has a private sound healing and spiritual mentoring practice in Marin County, California. During her years at Sukhasiddhi Foundation she accompanied Lama Palden on pilgrimage to India(2015) and Bhutan(2009, 2019). These journeys opened even further a deep and profound reverence for spiritual and contemplative practice in the context of personal transformation and world peace.
