Education

The Center for Consciousness Medicine provides students with an education that is rigorous, somatic, didactic and experiential.

CCM graduates emerge with the practical tools and inner wisdom to be skillful, embodied practitioners in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Our programs are designed to meet the varying needs of incoming students.

The CCM tuition philosophy is designed to ensure economic inclusion for all who are called to this work. Our staff is proficiently trained and supported in facilitating groups with diverse life experiences.

What We Teach

The Center for Consciousness Medicine provides students with an education that combines earth-based wisdom, ritual, and expanded states of consciousness, with psychotherapeutic knowledge, coaching skills, and embodiment practices. Graduates will have developed and refined the skills necessary to support the preparation, interpretation, and integration of what emerges during expanded states of consciousness, including those induced by psychedelics.

How We Teach

Somatically

Programs

Students are exposed to a range of modalities and teachers in the context of an intimate container. Our programs offer an experiential, process-oriented, learning environment with cohorts of approximately 20 students who are supported by core faculty and assistants. CCM guest teachers offer graduate-level expertise in their respective fields.

The CCM fundamental and CCM professional programs satisfy the prerequisite for the Psychedelic Guide Training Program (PGTP). Those who already qualify for the PGTP will take a pre-training workshop to gain a foundational understanding of the Consciousness Medicine approach.
